What is the best way to fish a plastic worm Texas style?

I will be fishing it from a canoe on a small lake about 15- 20 acres. It has lilly pads, weeds, rocky ledges, and almost everything else. The bottom of the lake is rocky. I will be targeting largemouth bass. It is a simi clear (you can see about 4-5 ft)
