What is the best fishing knot to tie bass lures (Rapala, crank bait, spinner bait, etc) to the line?

Is it better NOT to use a swivel clasp and tie the lure directly on the line?

The Surgeon's Loop. It allows the lure to maintain it's natural motion and not be stuck in one place which will get you more strikes. I'll leave a website to show how to tie that and other knots. Good luck fishin'!

wire fishing knots at Lake & Fishing

I’m looking for a new fishing line to put on my baitcast reel. I use spider wire super mono xxx for catfish bass and pretty much every thing else except trout. I’m dissapointed with the spider wire because of the memory, thickness, visability under water and I relly just dont like the line. Any way I’m looking fo some new line. I want some that dosen’t hve much memory, its strong, clear under water good knot strength, abrasion resetant, and dose not backlash to much. I know the line I want probley dosn’t exsist but what ever comes close.

What line do you use?

that line does not exist. The closest you can come is going to be some sort of flourocarbon.
