What is the best knot for tying braided fishing line end to end?

I know a lot of knots, I've used them in all sorts of things from fishing, boating, climbing, rapelling, etc. The blood knot is a good joining knot, but I use a figure 8 follow through. It isn't that hard to tie, and it's really really strong. (I trust
