Why do SOME Churches of Christendom use REGULAR "Fishing Nets" Instead of (COLLECTION) PLATES when "Begging"?

I've SEEN Some Church's of Christendom Use WALMART Fishing Nets instead of COLLECTION PLATES when "Begging" 4 Money at their Sunday Church Services ! ! !

Then THEY'LL "Shove" these CHEAP Nets "INto YOUr FACE"

Really? I've never heard that one before.......I do know that they pass collection plates several times.. smiles!
Anyway, I guess the nets are to ensure that they don't get loose change, just bills!
Sad, sad, sad indeed!

by BassMaster

Wanted to get my little bro some fishing gear for his birthday…dont have a bass pro shops or dicks sporting goods near me so i can either order online or find another store. only thing is if i order online the gear probably wont come on time. anyway i could’ve sworn i read something on yahoo answers about wal-mart carrying fishing gear. can anybody confirm this? do they carry quality name brands? what are their prices like?

any information is appriciated

thanks and tight lines!

Yes, they carry fishing gear, and their everyday prices are better than Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s. You do have to realize though, they have nowhere near the selection that you will find with the other guys that specialize in fishing. They do carry good brands, Abu Garcia, Mitchell, Daiwa, Berkley, Rapala, Cotton Cordell. You can probably find everything you need there, they even have polorized sunglasses, fish finders, scales, tackle boxes, nets, attractants and so much more!
