Best way to catch baitfish like carp and bullhead?

Mar 22, 2010 by V10 Bruiser | Posted in Fishing

I'm having trouble catching carp and bullhead for flathead bait. I'm after the ones that are 8-12 inches long. The area I live in has small streams, a medium sized creek that ranges from 1 to 7 feet deep, many farm ponds and the river. Any suggestions?

Cast net if you see any carp riding near the surface.

Also catch them on rod and reel with nightcrawlers for bullhead and corn for carp.

Since alot of my clients are from the site..

Guys:

The Assembly and Senate are currently sponsoring Senator Van Drew's Menhaden Bill A2304/S1140 to reduce Bunker netting and or permitted vessels. Below is a letter that can be cut and pasted to Word for printing. If you are sick and tired as most of us are with the Bunker rodeo currently going on and depletion of our resources then print, sign and address the below letter. Feel free to personalize it as you see fit. Time to act is now as the bill is currently being discussed and people are pissed:
