Come to Calistoga for the tenth annual celebration of Cinco de Mayo with one of the best parades in the Bay Area plus a wonderful family-oriented festival afterwards. If you like music, colorful costumes, beautiful horses and delicious food you will love Cinco de Mayo in Calistoga. Parade at noon. Festival goes until five pm. Admission is $5 for adults, with children under 12 free. 942-6333 Recreation, Benefit: Ride in the largest single-day charity cycling event in California. The event begins and ends at the Veteran’s Home in Yountville. Four different routes meander through the Napa and Alexander Valley’s during the height of spring. May 2: “Together We Can Make a Difference” These convivial gatherings, held in popular local, historic settings, will present a forum of speakers and audiences talking about what’s happening in Napa—from growth to identity, sustainability and cultural resource conservation, development trends and more.
