I like to go fishing from time to time. Not really a pro fisherman but i enjoy it a lot. I go fishing off the NJ coast and near bristol. What type of rods should i get for my first rod? i'm a complete beginner at fishing and rods so any help would be

I have been fishing my whole life and strongly believe in the Ugly Stik. There are more sensitive rods out there but I can't see paying $150+ for a rod that can break by being stepped on when I can pay $30-$40 for one that is virtualy unbreakable, at
