How do I find the best deep sea fishing spot in Florida?

My goal is to reel in a Marlin. Where can I go for Florida Marlin fishing? Should I find a Florida fishing charter?

More fishing closed off the coast of Florida as oil moves east ...

by Chris Kirkham, The Times-Picayune

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has closed more than 500 additional square miles of fishing grounds off the panhandle of Florida beginning this evening, as the oil slick moves farther east.

Yesterday NOAA closed more than 2,000 square miles of the Gulf of Mexico to fishing as far east as the Destin area. Today the closure area was widened as far east as off the coast of Panama City Beach, Fla.

In total, 78,603 square miles of Gulf of waters, or about 33 percent of the federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico, are now closed as a precaution due to the oil spill.

Almost everyone is neglecting what may be BP's real reason for letting the oil gush. When the Gulf environment is destroyed, they know they can drill and drill and drill and drill. Because there will be no environment to care about. And everyone will be dependent on the oil industry for work.

While I don't think this was a planned event, I do believe that BP saw this as a capitalist opportunity. They tried poor attempts to pretend to stop the well, but they are more than OK with the oil destroying the wildlife for decades. That is where they get scads more money back in the long run. Not from this well. But from all the other wells that come after. There will be no environment to defend or be cautious about or care about.
